RFS on Hold

Hey Fashionestas,

I have some sad new :*(
I'm going to put RFS on hold, school is getting really busy and I barely have time to update Zebra Print.
I'm still going to be posting about fashion, the occasional Nail Sunday, but on Zebra.

I'll start the blog up again as soon as I can:)

Thanks,
Calipso

Hey fashion peoples,

Just wanted to say I'm sorry for not posting in a while (and of coarse bring you something interesting to read), it was Easter and then I got sicky... It was bad...

But anywho!

Since I missed Nail Sunday, let's start with that!!

See that gorgeous hand? Couldn't I be a hand model?? Lol, anyway, these are the nails my Daddy painted for me as some qaulity bonding :)
To make them you:
Take some tape strips and place them on on side of your nails diagonally.
Paint one side (we did the top side) pink.
Dry (duh) ;)
Take off the tape and paint other side white (the divide the sides he put a black line in the middle with a smaller nail brush)
Take the small brush again and do a small black swirl (or heart or star, whatever you want!)
Let dry

Hope you try Daddy's design!!!

Cali

Glam Gown

Hola, amigos!

Today I bring with me a Hollywood Glam Wedding Dress in honor of my performance!
This dress I found online (design and everything go to the respective owners) and loved it!
The gloves and feather boa complete the look and with a matching hairpiece it scream "Hollywood Glam"!!!

This dress -although very Hollywood- somehow has a vintage feel to me (disagree?)???
Would you have a Hollywood Glam wedding and wear this dress?
I sure would, the perfect for an actress (or anyone who likes glam)!

New Addition

As I said in the last post, I bring a new addition to the blog: I'm calling it... Well I'm kinda blocked for clever names at the moment, so let's just with Nail Polish Thursday :)
So without further ado:

These nails are so cute and super easy,
Paint your nails white (white being white, you'll need a few coats) then let 'em dry completely.
Then take a knitting needle (I find these work best), blue, yellow and pink polish and pour a few drops onto a piece of card. Dip the needle in and line the dots on your nails in a different pattern every nail.
Let dry again and cover in top coat (keeps polish on longer and makes the colors brighter)!

See you in Nail Land next Thursday,
Calipso

P.S. The nail pictures and ideas (unless other wise stated) are not mine, I found them elsewhere and am just admiring them :)

My New Fav Color

Hey fashion gurus!!
Sorry I haven't been posting in a while, super busy with my upcoming performance!!!
But here I am with not only a new addition to the blog (announced in later post) but with a drop dead gorgeous dress that has made sunset my new fav color......:

Now I'm just guessing here, my I'm sure some of you saw the Oscars and I know they already passed, but this one dress I can't shake from my head:

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton.
Love the dress, the make up (the light pink lipstick goes perfectly with flushed red fabric) and her just natural like that is pure fashion perfection;)

So Michelle is definitely my fav of the night and my worst Oscar look would have to be:

Gwyneth Paltrow.... Oh Gwyn....
I like this look but manage to hate it at the same time... Maybe it's the cape....

This years Oscar fashion was definitely something to talk about and now I'm totally excited for next year!

Vera Wang

Hey fashionestas,

Today on this fine weekend mourning I bring you a wedding dress that totally caught me eye!
And before you say 'why would we be looking at wedding dresses?' just trust me on this one, this dress would be gorgeous in white for a wedding or a diff color and shorter for more casual dress.
Anyway, I present to you, a Vera Wand wedding gown:

Maybe you've seen it, it came out a while ago, but when I saw it I loved it.
I don't why I like so much, maybe the stripes and bows in the back?
I love how the stripes are slightly different colors and how the fabric somehow just looks so soft and comfy?

Now look at the dress, wouldn't it look awesome in like a turquoise or even a blood red?

A soft lavender or periwinkle would look good with this dress too, it certainly looks good in this picture with bridesmaid dresses.
I don't know... I just love it!

Have a fashionable day,

Calipso
